Essential Job Functions:
The Account Service Specialist performs key endorsement and servicing processes on complex accounts. This includes customer-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
Gathers and analyses data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs as necessary to processes endorsements and approves change requests within assigned authority. Receives and replies to routine and complex coverage inquiries. Addresses and resolves
problems. Special projects will be assigned and directed by Team Leader.
Qualifications:
·Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
·Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups.
·Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and make sound business decisions.
·Ability to work under high level of activity for various projects.
·Type 45wpm; knowledge of MS Office and agency management software(s).
·Must possess leadership and team building skills and experience.
Requirements:
·Must have p&c background and 3-4 years experience servicing complex accounts with an insurance agency.
·Demonstrate service and negotiation skills.
·Command of commercial insurance products and coverage’s.
·Perform timely and accurate endorsements and other mid-term servicing.
·Input change requests into specific systems; verify accuracy of carrier issued endorsements.
·Research and evaluate account details and history
·Must have underwriting authority to consult and approve complex policy changes.
·Ability to work continuously and accurately with carrier coverage, and underwriting
guidelines
